My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were atmospheric with original tiles and French balconies overlooking the street, but at this elevation, they could get noisy during evenings, which was worse than what I booked. The service was lovely and helpful thanks to the hard-working staff, especially the waiters in the restaurant who were knowledgeable and hospitable; they even opened doors for me at 4 am. The location in a cloister in the center of Puebla with a nice terrace was excellent, being one block from Zocalo. The dining experience in the dining room was very good, with options like huevos al gusto, papaya, and a pot of good coffee to enjoy while journal writing; however, it could be better as it was skimpy and not good. The facilities were good, and the price was reasonable for the value provided.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The hotel exudes old-world charm and is located perfectly for exploring historic Puebla.
